Lentil Noodles - The Healthy Alternative

Many diets focus on restricting carbohydrates. This is difficult for everyone who really likes to eat pasta, especially since pasta fills you up quickly and can also be prepared so easily and in a variety of ways.

But now there is an alternative to conventional pasta that is also very healthy: lentil pasta. These are made from lentil flour and water instead of eggs and wheat. They contain no sugar, no eggs or milk and of course no flavor enhancers.

That alone makes you healthy. Noodles made from lentils are therefore lactose-free, gluten-free and offer healthy fiber. Ideal to support a diet.

Lentil Pasta For Lots Of Energy

In terms of taste, the noodles made from lime trees behave similarly to wheat noodles and can therefore be prepared with all conceivable sauces. If you are on a diet, you should of course refrain from preparing it with kilos of cheese or creamy, hearty béchamel sauces.

However, if you choose lentil noodles because they are healthy or gluten-free, you can of course also use them to make a very nutritious pasta dish. What is certain is that they can perfectly replace wheat noodles. They are full of proteins (23%) and are therefore also a good addition to a vegetarian diet. They provide a lot of energy and keep you full for a long time.

Varied, Healthy And Rich In Protein

Lentil noodles are of course available in healthy food stores or drugstores. They are just as easy to prepare as conventional pasta and can be varied in many ways. Legumes are already one of the products that are often referred to as superfood because they contain protein and fiber and offer many nutrients that people who eat little or no meat in particular need.

With the alternative made from lentils, noodles are no longer fattening foods. Nevertheless, they fill you up in the long term, just like normal pasta. Lentil pasta also brings color to the table: red noodles made from red lentils, light-colored noodles made from lentils and chickpea flour or greenish noodles with a mixture of pea flour.
